Welcome to MumsFavouriteBakes. By placing an order, you agree to the terms listed below. These terms help keep everything clear, safe, and smooth for both of us, as I operate independently from my home kitchen.

1. Ordering

All orders must be placed directly via Instagram or Facebook Messenger.
Please allow a minimum of 3 working days’ notice for all bakes.
Orders sent after 12pm are processed the next working day.
Orders are not confirmed until I have accepted the request and provided collection details.

2. Collection Only

Delivery is not available at this time.
All bakes must be collected in person at the pre-arranged time.
I handle each bake with care, but once collected, the customer is responsible for transporting it safely.

3. Payment Terms

Payment must be made before or upon collection (your choice).
Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer or Cash.
Orders are only prepared once payment is confirmed if you choose to pre-pay.

4. Cancellations & Changes

Orders can be cancelled or changed up to 48 hours before collection.
Any cancellations made within 48 hours may not be refundable as ingredients may already have been purchased.
As a one-woman small business, your understanding and kindness are greatly appreciated.

5. Allergens & Safety

All bakes are prepared in a domestic kitchen, not an allergen-free environment.
While I follow strict hygiene standards, I cannot guarantee the absence of nuts, gluten, dairy, or other allergens due to ingredient suppliers.
Full ingredient lists and highlighted allergens are available for every product upon request and provided with your order.

Please note:
Even if a recipe does not contain nuts, some ingredients from M&S carry a “may contain nuts” warning, so products may not be suitable for those with severe nut allergies.

6. Storage & Shelf Life

Brownies, lemon drizzle cake, chocolate & banana loaf, and cinnamon rolls: store in a cool, dry place and consume within 2–3 days.
New York cheesecake and carrot cake: must be refrigerated and consumed within 2–3 days.
Your order will include storage reminders based on the product.

7. Food Safety Statement

All bakes are prepared fresh to order using high-quality M&S ingredients.
Eggs used are Lion Mark where applicable, sourced from M&S.
My kitchen follows Hertfordshire’s food hygiene expectations for home-based businesses.

8. Quality & Imperfections

As each item is homemade:

Slight variations in shape, size, or decoration may occur.
I take pride in being a perfectionist, but handmade bakes naturally vary — and that’s part of their charm.

If you are ever unhappy with your order, please contact me within 24 hours, and I will happily try to resolve it.

9. Use of Photos

I may take photos of products for use on my website or social media.
Customer names or private details will never be shared.
